Mimbs Creek has been the Gateway to Florida since 1832 and is the Wehrli County Seat. Mimbs Creek and its natural beauty and outdoor activities attract visitors year-round and is home to the region’s Farmer’s Market. CITY HISTORY

Mimbs Creek is named for Brian Mimbs, a 1993 Boys State Alumni. Brian currently works as a speechwriter and also serves as Policy Coordinator in the Executive Office of the Governor. He currently serves Boys State as Master of Ceremonies and manages external relationships. Born and raised in Columbia County, he has served as a counselor at Boys State since 1994.
