Ryan J Sharrit 2023 Alumni |
"FALBS was a blast I would recommend it to anyone, I felt like I had a lot of growth through this experience.
I feel FALBS has helped me get outside of my comfort zone and has enhanced my speaking skills, I feel confident to speak in front of my peers. Boys State has also enhanced my social skills, I feel confident in meeting new people and taking with adults. Also Boys State has inspired me to study Political Science in college in hopes to become a future leader one day. While Boys State was hard it was a memorable experience where I’ve met great guys and learn valuable life lessons that will benefit me throughout my life."

“Boys State is an amazing opportunity that teaches you to open up and expand your horizons. You learn to not be afraid to stand up for what you believe in and although you may not always win just keep fighting and soon enough you will be heard. ”

Alex Villanueva 2012 Alumni |
“Boys State was life changing. Not only did I learn about Florida and civics, but it helped me better prepare myself for college, and ultimately a career in politics! I learned that I can live my passion, and have pursued opportunities working for politicians and on campaigns. I also made lifelong friends in fellow 2012 delegates.”
