Leonard Town is named for the counselor who has served Florida American Legion Boys State for over 52 years, Willie Leonard. Willie worked for the American Legion for over 60 years and served Boys State with hardwork and dedication as Quartermaster. Willie’s words of wisdom: "Please do not use bleach on the shirts."
