What Alumni are saying

Jake Sonzogni 2013 Alumni |
"Boy's State is an excellent program filling gaps in leadership, academics, and friendship that you thought you never needed. It is a life-altering program that will garner your interest in topics not commonly covered in High Schools: government, politics, leadership traits and tactics, and communication."

Zachary Morris 2017 Alumni |
“Boys State helped me come out of my shell and taught me to take charge of my own career. As a member of the Boys State Press Corp, Broadcast News program, I got to work behind the scenes and showcase my talents in a professional news setting. The instructors took the time to help me grow and taught me not only how to be a professional news broadcaster, but also encouraged me to pioneer within my career path. If it hadn’t been for Boys State, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”

“Boys State was life changing. Not only did I learn about Florida and civics, but it helped me better prepare myself for college, and ultimately a career in politics! I learned that I can live my passion, and have pursued opportunities working for politicians and on campaigns. I also made lifelong friends in fellow 2012 delegates.”
